Baseball Recap: Belchertown Comes Up Short

Belchertown managed to slip by Longmeadow the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Orioles came up short against the Lancers on Saturday, falling 14-1. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Orioles couldn't push the score so high this time.

Belchertown's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Longmeadow, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Belchertown will host Agawam at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Longmeadow, they will welcome West Springfield at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
