Volleyball Game Preview: Fort Lupton Bluedevils vs. Weld Central Rebels + How To Watch

Fort Lupton hasn't had much luck against Weld Central recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Bluedevils will venture away from home to face off against the Rebels at 6:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Fort Lupton lost 3-0 to Severance on Monday.

While Fort Lupton was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Severance's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Weld Central came up short against Platte Valley on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Rebels have struggled against the Broncos recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17, 25-15.

Weld Central's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Fort Lupton, their loss dropped their record down to 13-9.

Fort Lupton beat Weld Central 3-1 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bluedevils since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
