Football Game Preview: Buena Vista Demons vs. Centauri Falcons + How To Watch

The Buena Vista Demons will face off against the Centauri Falcons at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Buena Vista sitting on 11 straight victories and Centauri on eight.

Buena Vista is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They put the hurt on Meeker with a sharp 40-14 win. The Demons pushed the score to 40-8 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cowboys cut but never quite recovered from.

Eli Schuknecht was his usual excellent self, rushing for 161 yards and two TDs on only 13 carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.

Meanwhile, Centauri got themselves on the board against Highland on Saturday, but Highland never followed suit. They blew past the Huskies 26-0. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by 26 points or more this season.

Buena Vista better keep an eye on Sean Jarvies. He was instrumental in Centauri's win, throwing for 110 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also rushing for 32 yards. That's the most rushing yards Jarvies has posted since back in September of 2024. Centauri also got a significant boost from Marcos Atencio, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 82 yards.

Buena Vista's record now sits at 11-0. As for Centauri, their record is now 10-1.

Buena Vista was able to grind out a solid victory over Centauri in their previous matchup back in September, winning 37-27. Do the Demons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
