Baseball Recap: Bear Creek Find Success

Bear Creek won the last time they faced Franklin and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Bruins walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Yellowjackets.

Ian Cisneros spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up six Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Bear Creek saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Wheeler, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

The win got Bear Creek back to even at 9-9-1. As for Franklin, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-11.

Bear Creek will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Yellowjackets: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
