Volleyball Recap: Carrboro Takes a Loss

Carrboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Jordan-Matthews Jets, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-17, 25-16.

Carrboro's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Jordan-Matthews, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Jordan-Matthews didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Durham School of the Arts on the 19th. Hopefully Carrboro paid attention to the Jets' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Jets at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
