After a string of five wins, Victory Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell just short of the Ranburne Bulldogs by a score of 3-2. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Victory Christian took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 15-25, 25-10, 24-26, 25-17, 15-13.

Victory Christian now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Ranburne, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season.
