Football Game Preview: Atchison County Tigers vs. Royal Valley Panthers + How To Watch

The Atchison County Tigers will face off against the Royal Valley Panthers on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Atchison County is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 43 points two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Sabetha on Friday. They were dealt a 46-7 loss at the hands of the Bluejays. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Bluejays recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, Royal Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Perry-Lecompton/Bishop Seabury Academy on Friday and fell 27-24.

Royal Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Atchison County, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Atchison County was taken down by Royal Valley 54-8 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Tigers, Jaxson Stevens (who rushed for 193 yards and three TDs while picking up 12.1 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
