Volleyball Game Preview: Pomeroy Pirates vs. Garfield-Palouse Vikings + How To Watch

The Pomeroy Pirates will head out on the road to face off against the Garfield-Palouse Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Pomeroy is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Oakesdale just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Nighthawks. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Pirates have suffered since September 25th.

Meanwhile, Garfield-Palouse entered their tilt with Colton on Thursday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 5-0 win. The matchup marked the Vikings' most dominant victory of the season.

Pomeroy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Garfield-Palouse, their win bumped their record up to 15-1.

Pomeroy might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Garfield-Palouse in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Pirates avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
