Basketball Recap: Bowie Triumphs

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Bowie ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They snuck past the Hendrickson Hawks with an 83-78 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won five in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Hendrickson lost, don't look at Ryan Longoria. Despite the final result, he went 8-for-11 on his way to 21 points. Thanks to that strong game, Longoria now owns an excellent 47.4% field goal percentage. Another player making a difference was DJ Hardge, who posted ten points along with five assists and three steals.
