Volleyball Game Preview: Campolindo Cougars vs. Sacred Heart Prep Gators + Official Tickets

The Campolindo Cougars will square off against the Sacred Heart Prep Gators at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Campolindo heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Saturday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Redwood. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Giants: they've now lost four in a row.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Redwood scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 23-25, 25-22, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Sacred Heart Prep also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Valley Christian by a score of 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-23, 25-12, 20-25, 25-17.

Campolindo will have to contain Peyton Fu-Sarosa as she made an impact in Sacred Heart Prep's last game. She had 19 digs and three assists. Fu-Sarosa is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last six games she's played. Anabelle Yujuico also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Campolindo's loss dropped their record down to 26-8. As for Sacred Heart Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-7.
