The East Rutherford Cavaliers will head out to challenge the McDowell Titans at 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully East Rutherford focused on turnovers this week as the team gave up 15 on Wednesday.

Last Wednesday, East Rutherford ended up a good deal behind Newton-Conover and lost 75-61. While the Cavaliers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Red Devils 14-9 in the first quarter.

Despite their loss, East Rutherford saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Eno Baker, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Blake Suttle, who went 5 for 6 en route to 12 points plus five rebounds and two blocks.

Meanwhile, McDowell gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 78-39 win over R-S Central. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Titans had established a 26 point advantage.

Rylan Parkins had an outrageously good game as he earned 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Moore, who had 12 points.
