Baseball Game Preview: Arlington Admirals vs. Ketcham Storm

Arlington hasn't had much luck against Ketcham recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Admirals will be playing at home against the Storm at 12:00 p.m. Arlington will be strutting in after a win while Ketcham will be coming in after a loss.

Arlington's hitters will try to repeat the strong performance they gave on Thursday, when they got past North Rockland's usually-dominant pitching crew. The Admirals had just enough and edged out the Raiders 11-10.

Hudson Cavallo looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits.

At the plate, Griffin White was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Tristan Rivera was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles.

Arlington kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Ketcham didn't have quite enough to beat Yorktown on Saturday and fell 6-4. The game marked the Storm's lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Arlington's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Ketcham, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.
