Volleyball Recap: Indian Trail Falls Short Against Ranked Catholic Memorial

Indian Trail faced Catholic Memorial in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Hawks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crusaders. The Hawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Crusaders earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Evan Feudner paced Indian Trail's offense, picking up eight kills. Feudner got some help from Mason Fiene and his 19 assists.

This is the second loss in a row for Indian Trail and nudges their season record down to 12-9. As for Catholic Memorial, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Looking ahead, Indian Trail will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Racine Case at 6:30 p.m. As for Catholic Memorial, they will challenge Oak Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
