Football Game Preview: Sehome Mariners vs. Lynden Christian Lyncs + How To Watch

The Sehome Mariners will venture away from home to challenge the Lynden Christian Lyncs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Sehome's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

On Thursday, Sehome was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 38-33 to Lynden. The Mariners have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Loss or not, Sehome got some senior leadership from Nolan Wright and Alex Miller. Wright threw for 300 yards and four touchdowns, while Miller picked up 109 receiving yards and a pair of scores. With that strong performance, Miller is now averaging an impressive 102.5 receiving yards per game.

Meanwhile, Lynden Christian strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They breezed past Blaine to the tune of 41-0. Those 41 points were actually the fewest the Lyncs have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Lynden Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Sehome, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Sehome took their victory against Lynden Christian in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 47-25 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mariners since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
