Basketball Recap: Sean Tyler's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Tandem Friends over the Covenant

Tandem Friends was the 71-63 winner over The Covenant when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Tandem Friends Badgers fell 54-46 to The Covenant Eagles on Monday. The Badgers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tandem Friends lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Sean Tyler, who posted 20 points. Sincere Fordham was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Tandem Friends' defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for The Covenant, they moved to 4-9 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Tandem Friends won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against New Covenant at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. New Covenant is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.5 points per game this season. As for The Covenant, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Carlisle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
