While Vista put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Westview. The Panthers came out on top against the Wolverines by a score of 3-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Not much got past Trent Dodson, who gave up just six hits to keep Westview off the board. Dodson has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Vista's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Xavier LaPena, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Vista's record is now 12-6. As for Westview, they moved to 14-5 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Vista will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wolverines: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
