Basketball Recap: Lincoln College Prep Gets the Win

Lincoln College Prep won the last time they faced South Harrison and Zoe Gray did her part to make sure it happened again. The Blue Tigers came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 61-49 on Friday with plenty of help from Gray, who shot 64% from the field en route to 28 points and five steals. The game was her third in a row with at least 18 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Denver Piggie, who went 5-for-8 on her way to 10 points and four steals. Piggie is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season.

The win got Lincoln College Prep back to even at 2-2. As for South Harrison, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln College Prep will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on University Academy Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for South Harrison, they will welcome Trenton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give South Harrison their first taste of in-conference action this season.
