Chico is 8-2 against Enterprise since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Panthers will square off against the Hornets at 7:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Chico's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while Enterprise has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

On Friday, Chico came up short against Red Bluff and fell 31-19. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Panthers, who until this game were averaging 14.8 points allowed.

Chico's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Shamar Riley, who gained 113 total yards, and Jake Detmer, who threw for 123 yards and two TDs on only nine passes.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 38 points the game before, Enterprise was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They took a blow against Foothill, falling 43-7. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 508th, while the Cougars are ranked 171st).

Chico will have to contain Koby Johnson as he made an impact in Enterprise's last game. He rushed for 138 yards and one score. Enterprise also got help from Trason Fuller, who showed off his sure hands for 107 receiving yards.

Chico's record is now 8-2. As for Enterprise, their record now sits at 3-7.

Everything came up roses for Chico against Enterprise in their previous meeting back in October, as the squad secured a 52-7 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Johnson, who rushed for 118 yards and one touchdown on only 15 carries. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will the Panthers still be able to contain Johnson? There's only one way to find out.
