Recap: Riverfield Country Day Ravens vs. Liberty Tigers
It was a good run, but the Riverfield Country Day Ravens unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost to Liberty on the road by a decisive 67-50 margin. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Riverfield Country Day of the 55-32 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2023.
Several Ravens players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Braedon Clinton, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cameron Rutterford, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Riverfield Country Day's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Liberty, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Chouteau-Mazie the next time they take the court. Liberty will head out to face Chouteau-Mazie at 7:55 p.m. on Tuesday, while Riverfield Country Day will head out to face them at 7:55 p.m. on Thursday.
