Baseball Game Preview: Cardinal Hayes Cardinals vs. St. Raymond Boys Ravens

For the first time this season, Cardinal Hayes will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will welcome the St. Raymond Boys Ravens at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Cardinal Hayes has now lost seven straight dating back to last season, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 27th.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Cardinal Hayes' offense. They came up short against St. Francis Prep two weeks ago, falling 16-0.

Cardinal Hayes saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Cepeda, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one double.

Meanwhile, St. Raymond Boys won against Archbishop Molloy on Thursday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Ravens came out on top against Moore Catholic by a score of 6-3. The Ravens haven't had any issues with the Mavericks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Cardinal Hayes' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for St. Raymond Boys, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
