Volleyball Game Preview: Lebanon Warriors vs. Fairfield Indians

The Lebanon Warriors will square off against the Fairfield Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Lebanon came up short against Loveland on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Warriors have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

While Lebanon had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-19, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Fairfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Mason.

While Fairfield ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 25-18.

Lebanon's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Fairfield, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Lebanon came out on top in a nail-biter against Fairfield when the teams last played back in March of 2023, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
