Basketball Recap: Wyandotte Takes a Loss

Wyandotte lost against Washington back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wyandotte Bulldogs had to suffer through an 87-31 loss at the hands of the Washington Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 289th, while the Wildcats are ranked 63rd).

Jayden Boggess had an outrageously good game for Washington as he went 7-for-11 en route to 16 points along with six assists and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of CamRon Fields, who went 6-for-8 on his way to 14 points.

Wyandotte's loss dropped their record down to 0-15-1. As for Washington, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Wyandotte will challenge Harmon on Friday. As for Washington, they will face off against Atchison at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
