Basketball Game Preview: Johns Creek Gladiators vs. Galloway Scots

The Johns Creek Gladiators will square off against the Galloway Scots at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Friday, Johns Creek humbled Alpharetta with a 55-10 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gladiators.

Florida Johnson went supernova, going 8-for-19 en route to 17 points in addition to eight rebounds and seven steals. Another player making a difference was Grace Landeck, who posted 18 points and five boards.

Johns Creek smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since the start of last season.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Galloway and Woodward Academy had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The contest between the Scots and the War Eagles didn't end well, with the Scots falling 80-65. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (61), the Scots still had to take the loss.

Johns Creek's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Galloway, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
