Soccer Recap: Fairfield Finishes Even with Whiteoak

It was a proper cat-fight when Fairfield took on Whiteoak on Friday. Neither the Lions nor the Wildcats could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw.

Quentin McIntosh and Blake Walters scored all three of Fairfield's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Fairfield's draw gives them a new season record of 1-10-2. As for Whiteoak, they moved theirs to 4-8-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Fairfield will square off against McClain at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Fairfield are facing McClain at the right time seeing as McClain are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Whiteoak, they will head out on the road to challenge Felicity-Franklin at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Whiteoak will be up against Felicity-Franklin's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.08 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
