Football Recap: Northshore Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Northshore was feeling good fresh off their 43-19 takedown of Fontainebleau last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers were dealt a 42-3 loss at the hands of the Slidell Tigers on Friday. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Jakwan Jones produced another solid performance rushing for 241 yards and four TDs while picking up 12.1 yards per carry for Slidell. Those four rushing touchdowns gave Jones a new career-high. Carlos Flemings Jr. did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 94 receiving yards.

Northshore has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Slidell, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Northshore does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Slidell, they will take on Hahnville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
