Volleyball Game Preview: South Central Falcons vs. J.H. Rose Rampants

South Central hasn't had much luck against J.H. Rose recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Falcons are taking a road trip to square off against the Rampants at 5:00 p.m. J.H. Rose took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on South Central, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, South Central got the win against New Bern by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won eight in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-17, 25-9.

Meanwhile, J.H. Rose faced D.H. Conley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Rampants lost 3-0 to the Vikings. It was the first time this season that the Rampants let down their fans at home.

While J.H. Rose was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20, 25-16.

South Central now has a winning record of 11-10. As for J.H. Rose, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-4.

South Central might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from J.H. Rose in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
