Soccer Recap: Half Moon Bay Takes a Loss

Half Moon Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Woodside Wildcats, falling 8-0. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by exactly eight goals.

Half Moon Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-1. As for Woodside, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Half Moon Bay will welcome Carlmont at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodside, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Woodside face off against the Burlingame at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Woodside is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.
