Volleyball Game Preview: StoneBridge Cavaliers vs. Greenbrier Christian Academy Gators

StoneBridge has gone 9-1 against Greenbrier Christian Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Cavaliers will host the Gators at 6:00 p.m. StoneBridge will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

On Tuesday, StoneBridge made easy work of Denbigh Baptist Christian and carried off a 3-0 win.

One reason for the win was StoneBridge's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-19, 25-17.

StoneBridge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nyah Beckwith, who had seven aces and one assist. That's the most aces Beckwith has posted since October 3rd.

Beckwith wasn't the only good servers: StoneBridge was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in eight consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Greenbrier Christian Academy got the win against Gateway Christian on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16, 25-21.

Greenbrier Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 20-9-1. As for StoneBridge, their win bumped their record up to 34-0.

StoneBridge took their victory against Greenbrier Christian Academy when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Cavaliers repeat their success, or do the Gators have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
