Basketball Recap: Hadley Griffiths' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Milford over Piute

Milford was the 51-44 winner over Piute when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Milford Tigers received a blow on Friday as they fell 60-43 to the Piute Thunderbirds. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Milford's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hadley Griffiths, who posted 13 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Acacia Dalton, who put up eight points and seven boards.

Milford's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Piute, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Milford will square off against Bryce Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Piute, they will take on Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
