Baseball Recap: Bountiful Comes Up Short

Bountiful lost to Alta on Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Redhawks lost 12-2 to the Hawks. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Redhawks have suffered since April 8th.

Tait Caldwell was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Bountiful and nudges their season record down to 11-13. As for Alta, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Bountiful does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Alta, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-3 victory against Brighton on the 4th.
