Football Recap: Rocklin Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Rocklin and Granite Bay squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Rocklin had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 24-21. While the Thunder had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Grizzlies 7-0.

It was another big night for Isaiah Ene, who rushed for 187 yards and three TDs while picking up 7.5 yards per carry for Granite Bay. The Grizzlies are 8-1 when Ene posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.

Rocklin has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Granite Bay, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Rocklin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Granite Bay, they will square off against St. Mary's at 7:30 p.m. on the 29th.
