Volleyball Recap: Statesville Christian Wins Going Away Against Southeastern Christian Academy

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Statesville Christian had no problem doing just that on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Southeastern Christian Academy Warriors as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-21, 25-17.

Addison Layne paced Statesville Christian's offense, picking up 13 kills. Layne got some help from Elin Campbell and her 11 assists. Layne was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Statesville Christian's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Southeastern Christian Academy, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 11-9.

As of now, neither Statesville Christian nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
