Softball Recap: Silver Stage Comes Up Short

After flying high against North Tahoe on Saturday, Silver Stage came back down to earth. The Nighthawks lost 22-3 to the Pershing County Mustangs on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Nighthawks in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost nine in a row.

Silver Stage saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joselyn Fayaud, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Silver Stage's defeat dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Pershing County, their record now sits at 15-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Mustangs beat Silver Stage by a score of 16-1 on Saturday.
