Basketball Recap: Bayside Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Bayside fought the good fight in their overtime game against Poinciana on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 54-53 to the Eagles. The defeat leaves the Bears still looking for their first win of the season.

Leading Poinciana to victory were Jordan Sykes and Adriel Marin. Sykes posted 19 points, while Marin had 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shora Kasa, who scored eight points.

Bayside's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Poinciana, their record is now 3-1.

Coming up, Bayside will square off against Rockledge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Poinciana, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bridge to Independence at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
