Volleyball Game Preview: Westminster Wolves vs. Centaurus Warriors

The Westminster Wolves will square off against the Centaurus Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Westminster lost 3-0 to Thomas Jefferson on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-14, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Centaurus had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11, 25-17.

Westminster better focus on containing Braden Walls and Josh Schmeckpeper as the pair were huge in Centaurus' win. Walls had nine digs and one assist, while Schmeckpeper had five digs and two aces.

Westminster dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Centaurus, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Westminster beat Centaurus 3-1 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Does Westminster have another victory up their sleeve, or will Centaurus turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
