Preview: Taylor Griffins vs. Trenton Trojans
Taylor and Trenton are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. The Taylor Griffins will be playing at home against the Trenton Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Last Thursday, Taylor ended up a good deal behind Roosevelt and lost 58-43. Taylor has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Trenton came tearing into Tuesday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They escaped with a win against Carlson by the margin of a single free throw, 65-64. Trenton's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Taylor now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Trenton, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Taylor was able to grind out a solid victory over Trenton in their previous meeting back in February, winning 75-66. Does Taylor have another victory up their sleeve, or will Trenton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
