The Tri-Valley Scotties will take on the Meadowbrook Colts at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tri-Valley will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
Tri-Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 21-1 margin over Philo on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Gavin Harrold made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Tri-Valley hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Philo struck out ten times.
Meanwhile, Meadowbrook unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 4-1 to Maysville on Monday.
Like Tri-Valley, Meadowbrook also got a great game from a two-way player: Braylon Lowery. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Lowery was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing three bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
Lowery wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Gunner Davis, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.
Tri-Valley's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Meadowbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Everything went Tri-Valley's way against Meadowbrook in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Tri-Valley made off with a 9-0 win. Will the Scotties repeat their success, or do the Colts have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
