Football Recap: The Linsly School Comes Up Short

The Linsly School lost against Huntington back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cadets lost to the Highlanders at home by a 28-14 margin. While losing is never fun, the Cadets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 40th, while the Highlanders are ranked fourth).

This is the second loss in a row for The Linsly School and nudges their season record down to 2-7. As for Huntington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

As of now, neither The Linsly School nor the Highlanders have any future games scheduled.
