Basketball Recap: North Lincoln Picks Up Second Consecutive Victory + How To Watch

Ashbrook came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against North Lincoln, but Beckett Rinkus wouldn't allow it. The Knights blew past the Greenwave 63-40 on Friday with plenty of help from Rinkus, who went 6-for-7 to rack up 14 points along with eight boards and six assists. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 64% in the last three games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Ben Heavner, who posted ten points and six rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.9% field goal percentage.

Ashbrook's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyler Morgan, who shot 45% from the field en route to 10 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Antonio Worthy, who earned 13 points.

The win made it two in a row for North Lincoln and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 83.5 points over those games. As for Ashbrook, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Lincoln will face off against Maiden at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Knights their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Ashbrook, they will take on Huss at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Greenwave's defense better be ready for this one: the Huskies have averaged an impressive 73.5 points per game this season.
