Basketball Recap: Renton Comes Up Short

Renton saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 62-54 to the McClintock Chargers.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead McClintock to victory, but perhaps none more so than Joshua Mcmanaway, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Iyzaya Soto, who went 6 of 13 en route to 15 points.

Renton's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for McClintock, they moved to 4-9 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Renton will head out to face off against Skyline at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Renton is facing Skyline at the right time seeing as Skyline is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for McClintock, they will square off against Central at 2:00 p.m. on January 11th.
