Baseball Recap: Bishop Carroll Gets the Win

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bishop Carroll). They had just enough and edged out the Maize Eagles 7-6. The victory continues a trend for the Golden Eagles in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

Braxton Martin tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Aedyn Acosta, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two). Drew Niedens also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
