After a string of nine wins, WACO's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Lone Tree Lions by a score of 55-52. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 48-33.

WACO's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-3. As for Lone Tree, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. WACO will take on Sigourney at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sigourney will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something WACO surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lone Tree, they will challenge Cedar Valley Christian at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Lone Tree's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while Cedar Valley Christian has been banged up by nine consecutive losses on the road.
