Volleyball Recap: Wonderful College Prep Academy Beats Farmersville for Their Tenth Straight Win

Wonderful College Prep Academy waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Farmersville Aztecs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on October 7th.

Wonderful College Prep Academy was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17, 25-27, 25-11.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wonderful College Prep Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Daniela Macias, who had 14 kills, nine digs, five aces, and two blocks. Macias is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last 28 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Khobie Magana, who had seven kills, five digs, and three aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Wonderful College Prep Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in 11 consecutive contests.

Wonderful College Prep Academy's victory bumped their record up to 24-8-2. As for Farmersville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-18-2.
