Football Game Preview: Tokay Tigers vs. Mountain House Mustangs + Official Tickets

The Tokay Tigers will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Mountain House Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Mountain House took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Tokay, who comes in off a win.

Tokay played against Weston Ranch on Thursday and won via forfeit.

Mountain House is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight games on Friday. They had to suffer through a 55-21 loss at the hands of East Union. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 595th, while the Lancers are ranked 220th).

Tokay will have to contain Erin Foster as he made an impact in Mountain House's last game. He rushed for 161 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.3 yards per carry, and also picked up 41 receiving yards and one score. With that strong performance, Foster is now averaging an impressive 106 rushing yards per game.

Tokay is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.6 points over those games. As for Mountain House, their record now sits at 2-8.
