Basketball Game Preview: Vance Charter Knights vs. Vance County Vipers + How To Watch

The Vance Charter Knights will challenge the Vance County Vipers at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Vance Charter is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Thursday. They walked away with a 64-54 victory over Franklin Academy.

Vance Charter's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gary Wilkins led the charge by putting up 31 points. Those 31 points gave Wilkins a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Keyan Richardson, who posted 19 points.

Meanwhile, Vance County didn't have quite enough to beat American Leadership Academy-Johnston on Tuesday and fell 68-66.
