Volleyball Recap: Middletown Comes Up Short

Middletown's tournament run continued when they took on Piner on Saturday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Prospectors by a score of 2-1. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carly Johnson paced Middletown's offense, picking up five kills. Johnson got some help from Trinity Galvan and her eight assists.

Middletown's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Piner, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Middletown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Homestead on the 30th. As for Piner, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Dougherty Valley on the 30th.
