Pleasant Grove came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.9 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Skyridge Falcons with a sharp 11-1 win. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Drew Smith, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Brad Farrer, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three RBI.

Pleasant Grove always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Skyridge only posted an OBP of .333.

Pleasant Grove's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games.
