Volleyball Recap: Westbury Comes Up Short

Westbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Carnegie Vanguard Rhinos, falling 3-0. The Huskies were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rhinos from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16, 25-19.

Westbury's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Carnegie Vanguard, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Westbury has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Spring Woods on the 26th. Carnegie Vanguard has also already played their next contest (against Austin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
