Basketball Recap: Bishop Mcguinness Piles Up the Points Against Wilson Prep + How To Watch

Bishop McGuinness not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 25th (when they won 73-25). They took their game with ease, bagging a 67-32 win over the Wilson Prep Tigers. With the Villains ahead 40-16 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Claire Sullivan continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 69% from the field en route to 21 points in addition to eight rebounds and six assists. Thanks to that strong game, she now owns an excellent 45.3% field goal percentage. Jenna Moore was another key player, going 6-for-15 on her way to 16 points and three steals.

The victory made it two in a row for Bishop McGuinness and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points over those games. As for Wilson Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Bishop McGuinness will challenge Albemarle at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wilson Prep, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rocky Mount at 1:00 p.m. on the 13th.
