Softball Recap: Quincy Comes Up Short

Quincy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-0 to the Ephrata Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 on Thursday.

Quincy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amy Buenrostro, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Quincy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Ephrata, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 14-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Quincy will host Prosser at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Ephrata, they will welcome Ellensburg at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
